Overview

Marketing and Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company and its product is always at the peak of its trend in the market. He/she is responsible for conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, and managing the overall company's public and media relations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Management

  1. Manages and develops marketing campaigns. Evaluate effectiveness of campaigns released and announced. Does necessary adjustments/improvement for future campaigns (if needed) based on the result of the campaign assessment.

  2. Weighs important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels and branding.

  3. Plans and implements marketing/advertising/promotional campaigns on different platforms (e.g., social media, prints, etc.).

  4. Creates/develops methods for the further improvement of general awareness through social media.

  5. Organizes and attends marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness (e.g., tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, etc.).

  6. Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities.

  7. Prepares designs for marketing collaterals/materials such as letterheads, company logo, flyers, brochures, and/or banners needed for special company events, exhibitions and other marketing activities.

  8. Oversee preparation of marketing contents for publication of materials and oversee distribution.

  9. Works on website development and updating of e-commerce platforms (e.g., food aggregators, etc.).

  10. Oversee the technical writer in preparing contents of all the marketing collaterals and announcements released by the Company.

  11. Creates marketing pitch/materials every time there is presentation, high level discussion, sales/marketing drive/events and other related activities.

  12. Spearheads photoshoots of all the meals/food products available on the menu and products that are newly launched.

  13. Assists others on the preparation of creatives/collaterals needed for department/company-wide programs.

  14. Develops plans for advertising, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and sales management.

  15. Collaborate with managers in preparing budget and monitoring of marketing expenses.

  16. Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

  17. Widen the company's partnership with different suppliers of items and services needed to successfully perform all the marketing initiatives in place.

Business Development

  1. Supports and assists in the expansion of current business line to the local market.

  2. Supports and assists in the development of the company sales. Identifies areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities.

  3. Expands current business line to the local market.

  4. Ensures keeping of wider and bigger connections to help the company grow more in the field of its expertise.

  5. Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies.

  6. Uses research findings and analysis to provide suggestions to the team regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services that can be launched and overall strategy.

  7. Spearheads research and development activities to successfully launch new product line-up to be offered in the market.

  8. Summarize, synthesize, and recommend cost target for executive reviews and cross-functional implementation.

  9. Create business intelligence metrics and performance measurements.

  10. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and conversion rates, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Others

  1. Prepares marketing reports and submits them on time and as requested by the management.

  2. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting goals, and ensuring they meet performance targets.

  3. Oversees the 3rd party customer service partner of the company. Ensure that all complaints are immediately transferred to the Operations team for immediate resolution.

  4. Lead and encourage the workforce to reach goals, all while enforcing the company's policies and regulations.

  5. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
