Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will manage, organize, and safeguard construction project documentation so that files are accurate, accessible, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will also support process improvements by creating templates, ensuring archive practices are adhered to, and facilitating clear communications across project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize project/construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and other written or graphic materials.
  • Create, maintain, and update document templates for consistency and efficiency.
  • Archive documents in compliance with applicable regulation and industry standards.
  • Maintain efficient record keeping systems (electronic and/or physical).
  • Ensure effective communication of document status, revisions, versions, and access with team members, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Protect confidential information and ensure security/access controls are maintained.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (document control / records management).
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools; experience with specialized document management systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, or best practices for document control / records management in the construction sector.
