JOB SUMMARY

The Facility and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance, repair, and improvement works to ensure that the company's facilities, utilities, and equipment are well-maintained and operating efficiently.

This is an all-around position suitable for a start-up company—requiring someone who is hands-on, dependable, and capable of handling a wide variety of technical and maintenance tasks such as welding, painting, basic electrical, and mechanical work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Maintenance

· Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of the building, office, and production areas.

· Perform minor repairs and installation works (e.g., fixtures, furniture, partitions, doors, and shelving).

· Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all facilities and work areas.

· Assist in setting up and organizing new work areas or equipment as the company expands.

2. Electrical and Mechanical

· Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues (lighting, outlets, switches, extension cords, etc.).

· Conduct preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical tools or machines.

· Coordinate with licensed electricians or contractors for major works when necessary.

· Assist in installation, relocation, or dismantling of machines and equipment.

3. Welding, Fabrication, and Painting

· Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks for repairs or improvement projects.

· Handle painting jobs for walls, equipment, or fixtures as needed.

· Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of tools, materials, and safety gear.

4. Plumbing and Carpentry

· Repair leaks, replace faucets, or unclog drains as needed.

· Perform minor carpentry works such as constructing shelves, repairing tables, or wooden fixtures.

5. Safety and Documentation

· Follow company and DOLE safety standards in all maintenance activities.

· Maintain records of maintenance works, checklists, and reports.

· Report any facility issues, hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor immediately.

· Support safety drills, inspections, and compliance with local regulations (e.g., DOLE, LGU, BFP).

QUALIFICATIONS

· Education: Graduate of a vocational or technical course in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in facility/building maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, warehouse, or start-up environment.

WORK SCHEDULE

· Monday to Saturday (or as required by company operations)

· On-call availability for emergency maintenance work

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

· Knowledge of safety and proper use of tools and equipment

· Willing to perform hands-on, physical work

· Can work independently with minimal supervision

· Flexible, trustworthy, and proactive

· Willing to work extended hours or on-call for urgent concerns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php700.00 per day
