Job Description:

The Learning Content Specialist (LCS) is primarily responsible for designing and developing engaging, effective, and easy-to-navigate digital learning materials for leadership development programs. This role will focus on creating new and transforming existing resources into interactive, visually appealing, and learner-friendly modules within our Learning Management System (LMS). The LCS will work closely with Learning & Development (L&D) team and other stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with adult learning principles and rising business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop learning materials including e-learning modules, presentation decks, job aids, manuals, and facilitator guides.
  2. Translate topics into clear, visually appealing, and easy-to-understand learning content.
  3. Apply adult learning principles in the creation of learning content.
  4. Support the development of multimedia assets such as graphics, animations, videos, etc. in partnership with L&D Team.
  5. Upload and manage content within the Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
  6. Review and update learning content based on feedback, data, and/or changing business needs
  7. Collaborate with the L&D team and internal stakeholders to gather content and information and translate it into instructional materials.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in learning content development or instructional design.
  • Strong visual design skills, with proficiency in layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and content-organization skills.
  • Willing to work onsite.

Preferred but not required:

  • Knowledge of Learning and Management Systems
  • Familiarity with content-authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate (Articulate 360 preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of animation or video editing tools is.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick's, etc.)
