Content Specialist

Overview

As a Content Specialist, you will support the operations by creating, curating, editing, and managing high-quality content across various platforms. You will work closely with the team to ensure consistent, engaging, and accurate messaging aligned with brand guidelines and business goals.

Qualifications include at least 1–3 years of experience in a content writing/editing or communications role, preferably in a BPO or corporate setting. Basic knowledge of web content tools (any CMS) and Google Sheets (filter, copy/paste, find/replace). Familiarity with SEO principles, CMSs, and tools like WordPress, Confluence, or SharePoint is a plus. Strong attention to detail, grammar, and editorial standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college-level education is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Maintain and update ship, attractions, cabin, and destination/port pages within the CMS using provided checklists and spreadsheets. Ensure all content elements—text, images, tags, and links—are accurate and properly formatted
• Conduct targeted online research to gather specific details (e.g., venue access, GPS coordinates, country/region information). Verify findings using at least two credible sources and document source URLs for reference
• Perform thorough QA checks, including previewing updated pages, verifying spelling, links, and images. Review AI-generated content for factual accuracy, coherence, and tone. Flag or correct any hallucinations or substandard responses
• Keep internal tracking sheets accurate and up to date. Post a concise daily status update on Slack using the format: Done / Doing / Blocked / Questions
• Proactively raise blockers or unclear requirements with the team. Include relevant screenshots, links, and context. Frame questions clearly to speed up resolution
