About the role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Associate Accountant to join our dynamic team at Millennium Business Services, Inc. in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As an Associate Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our organisation. What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Perform account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the accounting or finance industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • CPA certification or pursuing CPA would be an advantage
