The IT Manager oversees the company's information technology operations, ensuring systems, networks, and applications run efficiently to support retail business operations. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, leading system improvements, and implementing and maintaining the company's ERP system to streamline business processes and enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all IT operations, systems, and infrastructure across retail branches and head office.
  • Lead the implementation, integration, and maintenance of the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure system security, data integrity, and network reliability.
  • Manage IT projects, including software upgrades, system enhancements, and hardware installations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize business disruption.
  • Supervise IT staff, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure quality and timely support.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize operations and user experience.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, administration, and support (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, POS systems, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure, networking, database management, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
