We are looking for an experienced
NOC Engineer
based in
Manila, Philippines
, with strong hands-on expertise in
DWDM
,
Ciena 6500 series
,
RLS
, and
Waveserver platforms
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, configuring, provisioning, and troubleshooting optical network services within a multi-vendor DWDM environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work extensively on
    DWDM optic projects
    , ensuring smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Perform
    link additions
    ,
    channel additions
    ,
    service provisioning
    , and
    alarm monitoring
    on Ciena platforms.
  • Manage and operate the
    Ciena DWDM ecosystem
    , including Network Management Systems (
    NMS
    ).
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for Ciena 6500, RLS, and Waveserver.
  • Configure, modify, and delete services as needed across Ciena devices.
  • Handle
    channel balancing
    ,
    node integration
    , and
    service creation
    using Ciena NMS.
  • Prepare detailed technical documents including
    DCN Plans
    ,
    LLDs
    ,
    FRVs
    ,
    SFDs
    , and
    NDDs
    .
  • Work with
    control plane technologies
    and ensure network stability and uptime.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years
    of relevant industry experience in optical networking / DWDM.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Ciena 6500 series, RLS, and Waveserver
    .
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Channel & service configuration
  • Troubleshooting on Ciena devices
  • DWDM link commissioning
  • Channel additions & service creation within multi-vendor DWDM networks
  • Experience preparing low-level designs and network documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/B-Tech/BE) in
    Electronics & Communication
    ,
    Computer Science
    ,
    Electrical Engineering
    , or related fields preferred.
