Reports to: Transport Supervisor

The job purpose of a Dispatcher is typically involves ensuring efficient and timely transportation operations through effective route planning and coordination. This role aims to optimize delivery schedules, minimize costs, and enhance overall logistical efficiency by strategically planning routes and managing fleet resources.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure fleet personnel strictly adhere to Fleet Procedures.
  • Coordinate timely arrivals of Consistent Frozen Solutions Trucks and Subcon Trucks at the warehouse; communicate with team if delays occur.
  • Distribute petty cash to delivery driver and delivery helper (CFS team). Sequentially load Consistent Frozen Solutions Trucks and Subcon Trucks.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of loaded items.
  • Address and resolve any problems, issues, or changes during loading process.
  • Record night operation data (arrival, departure, changes, and issues) accurately.
  • Regularly communicate with team to track location and delivery status.
  • Provide delivery updates to agents upon request.
  • Contact agents regarding any customer or item-related concerns.
  • Notify team promptly of any additional delivery information or changes.
  • Submit night operation report before end of shift.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to address major concerns or issues.
  • Coordinate resolution of truck problems with Fleet Coordinator.
