Job Summary:

The Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of telecommunications infrastructure. This includes the architectural layout of cell towers, fiber optic networks, data centers, switching facilities, and related structures. The role requires a combination of architectural expertise, telecom industry knowledge, and field coordination to ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop architectural plans and construction drawings for telecom facilities including towers, shelters, cabinets, and data hubs.

· Coordinate closely with civil, structural, and MEP engineers to ensure the integration of telecom equipment within the built environment.

· Review project requirements and conduct site assessments to determine the most effective layout and construction approach.

· Prepare technical documentation, bill of quantities (BOQ), construction schedules, and compliance reports.

· Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, telecom regulations, and health and safety standards.

· Collaborate with telecom network engineers, RF planners, and site acquisition teams during the planning and pre-construction phases.

· Conduct regular site inspections to verify design implementation and construction quality.

· Assist in contractor selection, bid evaluations, and technical clarifications during the procurement process.

· Support the resolution of design and construction issues on-site, including change requests or unforeseen technical problems.

· Keep up to date with new materials, technologies, and telecom infrastructure trends to ensure modern and efficient design approaches.
