We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support a US healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation combined with strong Excel and data analysis skills. This role focuses on preparing reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting management with accurate insights for planning and decision-making.

You'll work closely with the client's finance manager to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth month-end processes, while also assisting in budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and reconcile financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare management reports and conduct variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Manage and maintain financial data in Excel, including advanced reporting and scenario modeling.
  • Collaborate with the client's finance team during audits and month-end closing.
  • Support improvements to accounting systems and reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting background with knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas; Power Query/macros a plus).
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or management reporting.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience with US accounts or healthcare finance is an advantage.
