Role Description

This is a full-time role, RePay is based in Alabang, Muntinlupa. The Onboarding Analyst is responsible for ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding process for both standard users and merchant accounts. This role involves verifying submitted documents, coordinating with compliance and risk teams, guiding users through account setup, and ensuring that all accounts meet regulatory, operational, and system requirements. The Onboarding Analyst will act as the first point of contact for new users/merchants, ensuring that their journey from registration to active usage is seamless.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesFor Standard User AccountsReview and validate customer-submitted documents for e-KYC (IDs, selfies, proof of address, etc.) in line with BSP/AMLC regulations.
  • Assist users in completing the registration process on the app or web portal.
  • Coordinate with the Compliance Team for flagged/dormant/high-risk users.
  • Monitor the Identity Verification & Registration Verdict Engine and escalate any mismatched or suspicious results.
  • Educate users on app features such as fund transfers, QRPH payments, e-wallet usage, and security settings (2FA, biometrics).
  • Provide initial troubleshooting during onboarding (failed KYC, OTP issues, incomplete forms).
  • For Merchant AccountsFacilitate onboarding of SMEs, MSMEs, and enterprise merchants into RePay/RealHomes merchant ecosystem.
  • Collect and review required business documentation: SEC/DTI registration, Mayor's Permit, BIR Certificate, bank accounts, and board resolutions.
  • Verify merchant Authorized Signatories and Owner/Permissions Management setup.
  • Work with the Sales and Partnerships team to align onboarding with merchant-specific requirements (e.g., POS terminals, API integrations, settlement preferences).
  • Ensure merchants are trained on features such as QRPH acceptance, bill payments, prefund processes, and refunds/cancellations.
  • Liaise with the Tech/Integration team for API onboarding, settlement flow mapping, and dashboard access.
  • General DutiesMaintain onboarding trackers and prepare weekly reports on user and merchant onboarding metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with BSP OPS licensing standards, AMLC KYC rules, and NPC data privacy requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Sales, Product, and Tech teams to resolve onboarding bottlenecks.
  • Conduct periodic refresher sessions for merchants and end-users to ensure proper usage of the platform.
  • Support escalations related to failed onboarding, rejected accounts, or fraud risk concerns.
  • QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or e-commerce onboarding.
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML regulations, BSP OPS guidelines, and merchant onboarding workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to spot document irregularities.
  • Excellent communication skills for guiding users and merchants through onboarding.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, CRM systems, and internal dashboards.
