Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator (Electrical) to join our client's team. The role is responsible for leading and managing the electrical estimating process, including preparing tenders, analyzing project documents, and developing cost-effective solutions for major construction and engineering projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant cost estimates while supporting standardization and continuous improvement across all estimating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and oversee electrical estimates and tenders with detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, and timelines.
  • Analyze design documents, specifications, and bid packages to determine accurate costs and risks.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotations for technical and commercial alignment.
  • Provide cost-reduction recommendations and value-engineering solutions for more competitive proposals.
  • Prepare and review RFI responses, cost reports, and tender documentation.
  • Ensure all pre-contract and commercial obligations are met in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with management and project teams to improve estimating tools, workflows, and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering (licensed Electrical Engineer preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar cost estimation role.
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and review drawings, contracts, and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting remote or fly-in fly-out projects is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, 7AM to 4PM)
