About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Reservations Staff to join our team at the Sotogrande Hotel and Resort Group in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As a fulltime Reservations Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests, from the initial booking inquiry to their arrival and stay.
What you'll be doing
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, providing accurate and efficient responses
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and property information to assist guests
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Office and Housekeeping, to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any guest queries or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using reservation systems and office software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Ezee Absolute)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
