
Learning and Development Coordinator

- Support the Learning & Development Managers in delivering high-quality, cost-effective training programs for seafarers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate in the planning and implementation of training programs tailored to operational and regulatory needs.
- Verify the completeness and validity of seafarers' documents and certificates in accordance with the Company's Training Matrix.
- Coordinate with Planning and Crewing teams to align training schedules with deployment timelines.
- Schedule and monitor internal and external trainings, seminars, and secondment programs.
- Manage logistics for training activities, including venue arrangements, materials preparation, accommodation, meals, and transportation.
- Liaise with training providers, institutes, and instructors to ensure smooth execution and documentation of training programs.
- Communicate with trainees regarding training schedules, requirements, and feedback collection.
- Maintain and update training records, certificates, attendance logs, and feedback forms in the EMS system.
- Process training-related invoices and coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely payments and reimbursements.
- Monitor training compliance and proactively identify training needs based on the Company's Training Matrix.
- Prepare and regularly update the technical training calendar.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all training activities
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree.
- One-year relevant professional work experience in the field of ship management, particularly crew training and operations.
- Team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Tagalog
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint
