About the Role
We're hiring a Bookkeeping VA to support a U.S.-based company with organizing and updating financial records across multiple entities. This role is full-time, project-based, with the opportunity to transition into ongoing accounting support based on performance.
Your mission: get our books fully up-to-date in QuickBooks Online and help establish financial reporting systems that will be presented to potential investors and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Manage and maintain financial records for multiple companies using QuickBooks Online.
- Record income, expenses, and reconcile all bank and credit card accounts.
- Categorize and track transactions accurately across entities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports summarizing cash flow, expenses, and earnings.
- Prepare projected income and profit reports based on projected growth.
- Generate reports on client billing, VA payments, and operating costs.
- Support the creation of a clear, investor-ready financial snapshot of the business.
- Ensure all credit card and bank statements are reconciled and properly categorized.
- Collaborate with management to track property-specific profitability and budgets.

Clean, accurate reporting ready for investor review.
A streamlined system that can be easily maintained moving forward.
Requirements
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online expertise required).
- Experience managing multiple company books or entity structures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property management preferred but not required.
- Not a CPA role — no tax filing or payroll needed.
Work Setup
- Remote, full-time until project completion (estimated 1–2 weeks).
- Flexible hours with communication overlap during U.S. business hours (CST).
- Reports directly to U.S. owner and AVAS team lead.
Compensation
- Project-based pay with potential for ongoing accounting support work.
- Opportunity for long-term client placements through Advantage VAS.
Performance & Growth:
- Quarterly review showing improvements in efficiency or automation
- No more than 1 instance per quarter of missed deadlines or compliance issues
System and Internet Requirements:
You can work anywhere worldwide, provided you have a good internet connection, a laptop, and a headset.
- Computer Processor: at least i5 or higher (for both primary and backup computers)
- Computer Memory/RAM: at least 8.00 GB or higher (for both primary and backup computers)
- Computer Specification: at least Windows 10 64-bit or higher | Mac OS X Lion or higher
- Primary Connection: 50 Mbps or higher wired plan (above 20mbps preferred)
- Back-up Connection: at least 20 Mbps or higher
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php38,000.00 per month
