Claims Manager

We are looking for a Claims Manager who will take full ownership of the claims function in the Philippines. This role ensures that all claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory standards. The Claims Manager will lead a team of specialists, drive process improvements, and deliver a high level of service to clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the end-to-end claims operations, including evaluation, investigation, settlement, and closure.
- Review and make decisions on complex or high-value claims, providing guidance to team members when needed.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine insurance regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify risks in the claims process and establish controls to minimize exposure.
- Strengthen client, broker, and partner relationships by providing timely updates, addressing escalations, and ensuring a positive claims experience.
- Analyze claims trends and data to recommend process enhancements, cost efficiencies, and service improvements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management, highlighting performance, emerging issues, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align claims operations with broader business goals.
- Support organizational initiatives and contribute to a culture of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in claims management, ideally within insurance or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of Philippine insurance regulations and claims practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and claims management systems.
- Professional, ethical, and committed to delivering excellent service.
