Position Overview

The Claims Officer is responsible for managing and processing claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and process reinsurance claims in line with policy terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, reinsurers, and clients to ensure proper claims documentation and settlement.
  • Maintain accurate claims records and prepare regular claims reports for management review.
  • Monitor claims turnaround time to ensure prompt and fair resolution.
  • Support investigations of complex claims and liaise with adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in developing claims processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent client servicing by addressing inquiries and updates on claims status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in claims handling, preferably in insurance or reinsurance.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance principles, claims processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php45,000.00 per month
