The Claims Manager is responsible for leading the entire claims process—making sure all claims are assessed, processed, and resolved accurately, on time, and in line with company policies and Philippine regulations. This role also manages a team, builds strong client relationships, and works on improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Handling: Manage the full claims process—from assessment to resolution. Review and guide complex or high-value claims.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with Philippine insurance laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and address risks in claims processing.
  • Client Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders. Handle inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze claims data to spot trends and issues. Recommend and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on claims performance, trends, and key metrics. Keep accurate records and share updates with management.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments and follow management's guidelines.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in claims management (insurance or healthcare preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine insurance laws and claims processes.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
  • Professional, ethical, and with good moral character.
