JOB BRIEF:
The Claims Supervisor will oversee a team of claims adjusters and ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance claims. This role involves supervising daily operations, providing guidance and training, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and support a team of claims adjusters and/or examiners.
- Review and assign new claims to appropriate team members.
- Monitor the progress and quality of claims handling.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Resolve escalated or complex claim issues.
- Collaborate with other departments (underwriting, legal, customer service) as needed.
- Prepare reports on claim status, trends, and team performance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new claims staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in insurance claims, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Pay: Php25, Php27,000.00 per month
