Overview
We're looking for a creative and tech-savvy Social Media & Digital Content Manager to lead our online presence across all platforms. This role combines social media strategy, content creation and design, and website management — ensuring that our brand message is consistent, engaging, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and followers.
- Manage postings, scheduling, and interaction across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Plan and execute campaigns, including seasonal promotions and brand initiatives.
- Monitor insights and analytics to assess performance and optimize content.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
2. Content Design & Creation
- Conceptualize and design digital assets including posts, infographics, videos, and stories.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials, ensuring visual and messaging alignment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce promotional and informational content.
- Develop monthly content calendars and creative briefs for campaigns.
- Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma for visual design.
3. Website Design & Maintenance
- Manage and update website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
- Design and implement website improvements aligned with brand identity and user experience goals.
- Coordinate with developers or IT (if applicable) for technical updates and troubleshooting.
- Monitor website analytics and optimize performance, layout, and navigation.
- Ensure website and plugins are regularly backed up and updated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in social media management and digital content design.
- Strong understanding of web design principles and CMS platforms (preferably WordPress).
- Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or similar).
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Nice to Have
- Basic video editing and animation skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (preferrably ActivCampaign).
- Familiarity with paid ads management (Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
