Technical Lead

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• 10+ years in web development, with at least 3 years in technical leadership or senior
  
  architect roles.
• Proven track record delivering complex CMS-driven platforms (Craft CMS with Twig)
  
  and custom full stack applications (Laravel, , React, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience in cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and high-performance API
  
  design.
• Backend: PHP (Laravel), , Python (AI/data), Go (high-performance services),
  
  MySQL with query optimisation.
• Frontend: React, Vue, , Tailwind CSS, TypeScripts
• CMS: Craft CMS (Twig), WordPress, Shopify.
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Route 53, IAM), Vercel, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Testing & Quality: PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress, Postman, static analysis, TDD/BDD.
• Security & Privacy: OWASP Top 10, dependency scanning, GDPR/privacy principles.
• Observability: Sentry, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.
• Advanced English reading comprehension and communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply documentation quickly.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders

What will you do?

The Technical Lead at Annix Digital is the key architect and technical strategist for our development team, ensuring that all digital solutions are scalable, performant, secure, and aligned with modern best

practices. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities—driving architecture decisions, guiding developers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines, and setting high standards for code quality, testing, and delivery. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Designers, the QA/Traffic Manager, and Senior Management to oversee the successful delivery of projects from a technical perspective. The Technical Lead is also accountable for defining and evolving technical standards, mentoring developers, evaluating emerging technologies, and shaping our approach to DevOps, observability, and platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical architecture planning and solution design across frontend, backend, and full stack projects.
• Review scopes, functional specifications, and user stories to identify risks, dependencies, and optimal technical approaches.
• Approve technical decisions, integration patterns, and infrastructure configurations.
• Directly develop high-quality full stack solutions using React, Vue, , TypeScript, PHP (Laravel), , Python, and Go.
• Create and maintain custom Craft CMS implementations using Twig and ensure smooth integration with APIs.
• Drive a cloud-first approach using AWS, Azure, or GCP, incorporating containerisation and infrastructure-as-code (eg. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Ensure all solutions meet security, privacy compliance (GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles), performance, and accessibility standards.
