Role Description

The Technical Lead works in the Westcon Solutions F5 business unit team. Overseeing technical aspects of projects and leading teams to successful outcomes. Responsible for the technical direction of F5 opportunities, projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring F5 solutions' quality and timely delivery.
He
also makes sure that the team is working efficiently and that all tasks are completed on time.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring a team, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Designing and architecting scalable, maintainable, and efficient security solutions.
  • Support the sales team in the achievement of set revenue and GP budgets in line with company directives and objectives.
  • Implementing best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes within the team.
  • Could you set up a regular engagement with vendor Distribution Partner Account Managers and vendor engineering staff to share pipeline activity, best practice & training.
    Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
  • Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed.
  • Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
  • Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
  • Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
  • Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
  • Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with F5 Networks is required.
  • Network Administration and Computer Networking skills
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
  • Network Security skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work on-site in Metro Manila
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
