Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and people-centered People Engagement & Employee Relations Officer to lead engagement programs, manage employee relations cases, ensure labor compliance, and strengthen company culture. This role is essential in maintaining a positive, fair, and supportive workplace where employees feel valued and motivated.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engagement strategies, lead employee surveys, manage major engagement events, monitor KPIs, and drive programs that enhance belonging, recognition, well-being, and work-life balance.
- Oversee employee discipline and grievance handling, ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, guide leaders on due process, represent HR in DOLE-related proceedings, and analyze ER trends for proactive action.
- Promote a values-driven culture, manage internal communications and recognition programs, and ensure aligned messaging across departments.
- Build positive relationships with the Labor-Management Council, facilitate meetings, address concerns proactively, and maintain open communication channels.
- Review and update ER and engagement policies, prepare HR memos and guidelines, implement grievance and assistance programs, and streamline ER processes through SOP and RACI mapping.
- Coach HR staff and leaders on ER and engagement, develop engagement champions, support leadership programs, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR, Behavioral Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8–10 years in HR, including 4+ years in ER or Engagement leadership; manufacturing experience is a plus
- IR & Grievance Handling, OD/Change Management, Analytics, Engagement frameworks (Gallup/WTW/GPTW), DOLE LLCS preferred
- Strong knowledge of PH Labor Code, DOLE rules, PEZA standards; proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, HRIS, and data analytics
- Credible, empathetic, composed, collaborative, data-driven, and values-centered
