JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Preferably with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is essential
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • Accuracy and precision are crucial in cost accounting, requiring meticulous attention to detail

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Examining expenses related to production, operations, and various business processes
  • Establishing benchmark costs for products, services, or processes
  • Evaluating the relationship between costs, volume, and profit to make strategic decisions
  • Preparing reports for management on cost performance, profitability, and areas for improvement
  • Overseeing inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations
