Finance Head

EDUCATION AND TRAININGS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance is an advantage
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Preferably with background in manufacturing or food processing industry

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role leads the full spectrum of financial planning and analysis, including the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and performance reviews to guide strategic business decisions. It oversees accurate and compliant financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliation, and the processing of payables.

The position plays a key role in inventory and cost management, especially in a food manufacturing setup, ensuring control over COGS, production expenses, and inventory accuracy. It also manages cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital to maintain financial stability.

Tax compliance and regulatory reporting are critical functions, including handling BIR filings, external audits, and submissions to government bodies such as the BIR, SEC, and LGUs. The role also ensures strong internal controls, conducts regular audits, and mitigates financial risks.

As a team leader, the position supervises and develops the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, discipline, and ethical practice. It also provides strategic financial support to management, assists in evaluating investment opportunities, and oversees sensitive functions such as payroll processing and retirement accruals.
