About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at PRIMA TECH PHILS., INC.' in Calamba City, Laguna. As our Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth running and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in facilities management within the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive facilities management strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of our manufacturing sites
  2. Managing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and more
  3. Overseeing the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure high levels of service and compliance with health and safety regulations
  4. Monitoring and reporting on facilities performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate facility-related projects and initiatives
  6. Ensuring the facilities are compliant with all relevant legislation and industry standards
  7. Developing and managing the facilities budget, optimising costs and maximising efficiency
  8. Providing strong leadership and mentoring to the facilities team

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (5+ years) in a facilities management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
  2. Demonstrated expertise in the planning, coordination, and oversight of facilities maintenance and improvement projects
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
  4. Strong financial management skills, including the ability to develop and manage facility budgets
  5. Proficient in the use of facility management software and other relevant technologies
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  7. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing facilities team
  8. A relevant engineering or facilities management qualification would be highly desirable
