About the role

Airmix Enterprise Construction Incorporated is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to join our team in Alabang Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the quantity surveying activities for our mechanical construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimations and efficient project delivery.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for mechanical construction projects
  2. Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify material quantities and labour requirements
  3. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring the best value for the company
  4. Monitor project costs, identify potential cost savings, and provide regular progress reports
  5. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the timely and successful completion of mechanical construction projects
  6. Maintain detailed records and documentation to support project accounting and auditing processes
  7. Provide technical advice and support to the wider construction team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the mechanical construction industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  5. Familiarity with local construction regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
