Role overview:

Must be able to speak fluent English with minimal accent. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction materials and methods, well documentation, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Main responsibilities:


•⁠ ⁠Execute full take-offs for residential construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


•⁠ ⁠Pricing labour, materials and onsite equipment prior to commencement of works


•⁠ ⁠Review architectural plans and specifications


•⁠ ⁠Checking Supplier/Subcontractor quotes and issuing purchase orders for onsite works


•⁠ ⁠Assisting with client sales estimates and upgrade costings


•⁠ ⁠Contract drawings


•⁠ ⁠Ensuring all project costs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements in residential construction


•⁠ ⁠Researching and maintaining updated information on market costs for materials, labour, and subcontractor rates to ensure accurate estimates

About you:


•⁠ ⁠Excellent English communication (Must)


•⁠ ⁠Proven minimum 2 years of experience in residential construction estimating


•⁠ ⁠Ability to read and interpret construction plans


•⁠ ⁠Be able to do measurement and take-off on working drawings


•⁠ ⁠Understanding of construction, techniques, terminology, and costs


•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of workflow stages in residential building, from inception to construction


•⁠ ⁠Understand and have background of Australian residential construction (Optional)
