Reporting To: Accounting Manager / Finance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist (Reliever) to temporarily assist the Finance Department. The reliever will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting timely month-end closing processes. This role is crucial in maintaining accounting operations while the regular staff member is on leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing and payments.
  • Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary documentation.
  • Other accounting and administrative tasks as may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and BIR compliance is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
  • Can start immediately and commit to the full duration of the reliever period.
