JOB OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company to ensure its overall financial health and sustainable growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for attaining the desired profit goals and business growth as defined by the Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors.

· Controls and evaluates company's fundraising plans and capital structure

· Protects the company's revenue and profit to achieve financial control and growth

· Manages expenses and investing initiatives aligned with the strategic goals of the company

· Develops plans and financial strategies for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenses

· Ensures cash flow is appropriate for the company's operational requirements

· Assesses financial risks and opportunities and develops risk management plans or programs

· Develops organization projections by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities

· Prepares and presents financial information to the Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors

· Analyzes financial and accounting information and coming up with plans for improvement, cost reduction, systems enhancement and fund expansion

· Develops, implements and monitors financial controls, systems and policies

· Ensures compliance of the company with regulatory requirements, laws and policies in the areas of finance and accounting

· Conducts final review of Financial Statements before submitting to the Board of Directors.

· Attends the Management Committee Meetings, Executive Committee Meetings, internal and external meetings with banks, investors and other service providers.

· Manages and oversees the Finance and Controllership and Treasury departments to ensure effective completion of their responsibilities.

  • Establishes work standards, performance measures, goals and objectives

  • Assigns deliverables/tasks to subordinates

  • Evaluates work performance, tracks and reviews work progress of subordinates

  • Provides direction and guidance

  • Coaches, counsels and motivates subordinates

  • Recommends personnel action/movement

  • Interviews prospective employees and approves hiring for the department/group

  • Conducts job orientation and technical trainings as necessary

  • Identifies and recommends training program/seminar for staff development

  • Issues and implements disciplinary actions as needed

· Performs other work-related functions and duties that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

· Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

· Master's Degree is an advantage

· With at least two (2) years work experience in the same capacity or in senior financial management level

· Minimum of ten (10) years experience in accounting and financial management practices

· Must be well-versed in financial management, accounting, investment and banking/financing operation

· Has strong and broad network with banks and other investors
