We are initially seeking two experienced Steel Detailers to join our pilot offshore team. You'll collaborate directly with our Australian operations and grow with us as we continue to expand.

Position Details
  • Role: Steel Detailer – Philippines (Vertex BD / CAD)
  • Employment type: Full-time, permanent
  • Location: Manila (initially Work-from-Home, with possibility to move into a local office as the team expands)
  • Employer of Record (EOR): For compliance, successful candidates will be formally employed by our EOR partner in the Philippines, while working as an integral part of the Steelcraft team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings using Vertex BD (training provided).
  • Prepare detailed layouts for steel frames, trusses, and associated structural components.
  • Collaborate daily with Australian colleagues via Asana and Microsoft Teams.
  • Uphold Steelcraft's detailing standards of precision, quality, and reliability.
  • Support team growth, including mentoring opportunities as the team expands.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' CAD drafting/detailing experience (structural steel and residential light gauge steel frame experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Vertex BD, Tekla, Revit, or similar CAD software (Vertex training provided).
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Able to work aligned with Australian business hours (AEST).
