Job Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Front Office Associate to join our team at Quezon City. The Front Office Associate will be the face of the hotel, responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Check-In and Check-Out:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process, including verifying guest information, assigning rooms, and providing key cards.
  • Manage the check-out process, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and addressing any billing questions or discrepancies.
  • Assist with guest luggage and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Reservation and Guest Inquiries:

  • Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Upsell rooms and services to maximize hotel revenue and enhance the guest experience.

Guest Services and Communication:

  • Act as the point of contact for guests, providing information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience.

Administrative and Cash Handling Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, bookings, payments, and transactions in the hotel's PMS.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily cash register reconciliation in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on room occupancy, reservations, and financial transactions to the Front Office Manager.

Safety and Security:

  • Ensure a secure environment for guests by following hotel security protocols and reporting any suspicious activity.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures and assist guests and staff in case of an emergency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data privacy regulations.

General Office Support:

  • Keep the front desk area organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, answering phone calls, and handling email correspondence.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and amenities in the Philippines is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,500.00 per month
