Job Summary
Paladin Equity, a US-based private investment firm specializing in real estate and hotel management, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel revenue management, with specific expertise in Choice Hotels operations and the Choice Advantage revenue management system. This role is critical for handling daily revenue management across all of our hotels in California, including optimizing pricing strategies, forecasting demand, and maximizing revenue. You will analyze market trends, manage inventory, and leverage data-driven insights to drive profitability while ensuring alignment with Choice Hotels standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily revenue management activities for all Paladin Equity hotels in California, including monitoring and adjusting room rates, availability, and inventory using the Choice Advantage system and OTA platforms to automate and optimize processes.
Develop and implement revenue management strategies, such as dynamic pricing, yield management, and inventory control, tailored to the California market.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to make real-time adjustments, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR) across properties.
Generate detailed revenue reports, budgets, and performance analyses, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue goals with overall business objectives, including promotional campaigns and group bookings specific to California locations.
Conduct regular audits of reservations, night audits, and system configurations within Choice Advantage to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Evaluate and respond to economic factors, seasonal variations, special events, and regional dynamics in California to proactively manage revenue opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Choice Hotels policies, reporting requirements, and revenue optimization guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel revenue management.
Demonstrated proficiency in the Choice Advantage revenue management system, including automated forecasting, reservation management, and reporting features.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, revenue management software).
Excellent understanding of key performance indicators such as RevPAR, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and occupancy rates.
Proven ability to forecast demand and develop pricing strategies in a competitive hotel market, ideally with experience in California-specific markets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
Preferred Skills
Certification in Revenue Management (e.g., CRME from HSMAI).
Experience with additional revenue management systems or tools (e.g., integration with OTAs, CRM software).
Knowledge of digital marketing and distribution channels specific to Choice Hotels.
Familiarity with the California hospitality market, including regional trends and regulations.
