Job Description: Hotel ManagerPosition Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations, guest services, and overall business performance of our hotel. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven hospitality management experience, exceptional people skills, and a business-oriented mindset. This role requires balancing operational excellence with financial performance while ensuring guest satisfaction at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and facilities management.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly.
  • Monitor hotel cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.

2. Business & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor room occupancy, revenue, and profitability to maximize hotel performance.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to attract guests and corporate clients.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.

3. Team Leadership & HR Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff across departments.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and performance-driven work culture.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Implement training programs to enhance staff efficiency and guest service.

4. Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and new revenue streams.
  • Work closely with executives/owners to align hotel operations with overall business goals.
  • Oversee special events, promotions, and loyalty programs to boost brand positioning.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper security and emergency procedures for guest and staff safety.
  • Handle audits, inspections, and risk management processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Hotel Manager, General Manager, or senior hospitality management role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and customer service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and make decisions quickly.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manila: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
