Alabang Country Club, Inc. is looking for a Risk and Assurance Senior Associate to join our Finance Division. This role plays a key part in strengthening the Club's governance framework by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across operations.

The Senior Associate will support management in developing effective risk management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Evaluate and quantify risks, and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement risk management controls, contingency plans, and internal audit processes.
  • Review existing policies and procedures to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present risk and assurance reports to management and the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, suppliers, and government agencies on risk and compliance matters.
  • Train employees to enhance risk awareness and compliance discipline within the organization.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, auditing, or assurance
  • Experience in a similar supervisory or senior role is an advantage

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CPA or Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, auditing, and compliance standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead others effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAS, or similar software)
