We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Associate to join our team at JR Group of Companies. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting department with general accounting tasks and tax billing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Accounting, and Check Preparation.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
  • Handle accounts receivable duties, such as monitoring payment schedules, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial documents, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the tax department to ensure accurate and timely tax billing and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax forms, including sales tax, income tax, and payroll tax.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tax-related documents and correspondences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an Accounting Associate or similar role, with knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with tax billing processes and experience in tax compliance.
  • Experience in handling BIR Form 2307 is a MUST.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
