Job Summary:
The Disbursement and Billing Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing and
managing the process of disbursements, billing, and collections, ensuring timely and
accurate financial transactions and compliance. This role will act as a key liaison between
GXI business and Finance COE to streamline operations, improve processes, and ensure
efficiency in the disbursement and collection cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
● Disbursement Management:
○ Oversee and manage the disbursement process, ensuring timely payments to
vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
○ Work closely with internal departments to ensure payment requirements and
timelines are met.
● Billing and Invoicing:
○ Ensuring all billing is accurate and in accordance with contracts and service
agreements.
○ Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and
ensure prompt invoicing.
○ Develop and implement billing procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
● Collections Management:
○ Develop and execute strategies for reducing overdue accounts and improving the
collections cycle.
○ Liaise with the collections team to monitor performance and provide guidance on
managing accounts receivable.
● Coordination with Shared Services Group:
○ Collaborate with the shared services group to streamline disbursement, billing, and
collections processes.
○ Provide guidance and support to the shared services group, ensuring smooth
execution of tasks and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
○ Facilitate communication between the business and shared services to address
challenges and improve operational efficiency.
○ Provide data and analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in billing, collections, and disbursement management.
● Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
● Proficient in ERP and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
