The Employee may from time to time be required to carry out such other reasonable duties as the Employer may decide, without additional remuneration, should this be necessary to meet the needs of the business. Detailed information on the position’s roles and responsibilities is defined below:

  • Filing and encoding of all invoices and payments to Quickbooks
  • Prepare and ensure approval of cheque vouchers with attachments (e.g Invoices, approved PO) for Rents, Utilities, Suppliers of Stocks, Contractors & Other Construction Related Expenses
  • Photocopy all cheques after securing signature
  • Settle payment through issuance of cheques or direct bank deposit to some suppliers (make sure that there\'s an Official Receipt when releasing the cheques and are properly logged in the log book)
  • Update monitoring sheet for all released cheques and daily recording of transactions
  • Preparation and Filing of BIR 2307 for Rental and Services.
  • Attends to other concerns of suppliers regarding the status of their cheque/s

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have knowledge in QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • With related experience in accounting, sales or finance for at least 6 months

PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual BIR remittances reports
  • Ensure accuracy of tax computations
  • Records and processes all trade and non-trade invoices, expense forms, request for payments and petty cash replenishments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To receive and validate all official receipts and withholding tax certificate of customers.
  • Validates accounting entries are accurate and are posted to the right account.
  • Assist in audits requirements
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation and schedules of assigned accounts.
  • Compiles routine numerical information for report purposes either manually and or by running routine reports in Navision.
  • Other accounting works as needed to support the Finance team
