About the Role

We are seeking passionate and skilled Commis Chefs to join a reputed luxury concept restaurant in Kuwait. Candidates must have prior experience in fine dining or upper casual restaurants and a strong desire to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Opportunities are available across multiple kitchen sections, including Bakery, Pastry, Japanese, Hot Grill, Cold Kitchen, and Preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your designated section.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by senior chefs.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Support senior chefs in daily operations, stock management, and mise en place.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and seasonal dishes.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef in fine dining or upper casual restaurants.
  • Specialization or hands-on experience in one of the following: Bakery, Pastry, Japanese, Hot Grill, Cold Kitchen, or Preparation.
  • Strong passion for culinary arts and high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
