About the Role

We are seeking talented and experienced Demi Chefs de Partie and Chefs de Partie to join a reputed luxury concept restaurant in Kuwait. Candidates must have prior experience in fine dining or upper casual restaurants and possess expertise in one or more kitchen sections, including Bakery, Pastry, Japanese, Hot Grill, Cold Kitchen, or Preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all food preparation and cooking in your assigned section.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Supervise and support commis chefs in daily tasks and mise en place.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs in menu planning, new dish development, and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations by working closely with team members across sections.
  • Uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence in fine dining service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as DCDP/CDP in fine dining or upper casual restaurants.
  • Specialization in one of the following cuisines: Bakery, Pastry, Japanese, Hot Grill, Cold Kitchen, or Preparation.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of international standards.
  • Ability to lead and motivate junior kitchen staff.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
