About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team at Golden Century Marketing. In this full-time, permanent role, you will oversee all accounting functions and support the business in achieving its strategic and financial objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership position within a dynamic and ambitious company based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the full accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with accounting standards and regulations
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improved business performance
  • Providing financial advice and recommendations to the management team
  • Overseeing the work of the accounting team and supporting their professional development
  • Implementing and enhancing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Liaising with auditors and other external stakeholders as required

What we're looking for

  • A 1+ years' post-qualification experience
  • Extensive experience in a managerial accounting role, ideally within a fast-paced, commercial environment
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret financial data
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work autonomously
