Position Summary

The Account Developer is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing programs within assigned territories or accounts. This role plays a key part in expanding product distribution, increasing market share, and ensuring excellent customer service in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with assigned customers (retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts).
  • Execute sales plans and promotional programs to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising in all assigned outlets.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor inventory, merchandising, and competitor activity.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product distribution in potential outlets.
  • Negotiate shelf space, pricing, and promotional activities with retailers.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and prepare regular sales reports.
  • Work closely with marketing and trade marketing teams to implement brand activations and campaigns.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure timely collection of accounts receivables and compliance with company credit policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (preferably in FMCG).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with sales reporting tools.
  • With valid driver's license (if fieldwork is required).
