JOB SUMMARY:

The Franchise Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of the company's franchise network. This includes providing support to existing franchisees to ensure operational excellence and brand consistency, as well as identifying and securing new franchise partners to expand the reach of the Caramia brand.

The role requires strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of franchising in the Philippine food service sector. The Franchise Manager plays a pivotal role in sustaining franchisee satisfaction, accelerating business growth, and maintaining strong working relationships with the Store Operations, Commissary, Research and Development, Procurement, Marketing, Treasury, Engineering and Maintenance, and other Head Office teams to ensure seamless coordination, compliance, and operational efficiency across all franchise locations.

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. FRANCHISEE MANAGEMENT

  1. Maintain regular communication with existing franchisees to provide support and resolve operational concerns.

  2. Conduct franchisee evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with brand, quality, and service standards.

  3. Identify opportunities to enhance franchise performance and profitability.

  4. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Store Operations, Marketing, Procurement, etc.) to address franchisee needs.

  5. Organize regular meetings, training, or conferences to foster franchisee engagement.

B. FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION

  1. Develop and execute franchise recruitment strategies in line with the company's growth targets.

  2. Identify and evaluate potential franchise candidates and locations.

  3. Present the franchise business model, terms, and value proposition to prospective franchisees.

  4. Guide prospects through the application, screening, documentation, and approval process.

  5. Collaborate with Legal and Treasury to draft franchise agreements and review financial capability of applicants.

  6. Support new franchisees during the onboarding and store opening process.

C. MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING

  1. Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis for new territories.

  2. Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and franchise market performance.

  3. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve franchise network performance.

D. ADMINISTRATIVE AND REPORTING DUTIES

  1. Maintain updated records of all franchise agreements, leads, and performance reports.

  2. Prepare and present regular franchise operations and development reports to the management.

E. OTHERS

  1. Perform other tasks and special projects as may be assigned from time to time by the President and Chief Operating Officer, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, or other top executives.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or any related course

o At least three (3) years of solid experience in franchise operations, business development, or sales, preferably in the food and beverage or dessert industry

o Strong background in franchise acquisition, onboarding, and compliance

o Familiarity with local franchising laws, DTI and SEC requirements, and business registration processes in the Philippines

o Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to provincial and metro locations for site visits and meetings

Preferably with experience launching or managing a multi-branch concept in a competitive retail market
