Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, and special items with a focus on Chinese cuisine.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Assist guests with menu selections and dietary inquiries, offering suggestions when appropriate.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience by anticipating needs and addressing issues promptly.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and dining room.
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Process payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately.
  • Uphold restaurant policies and represent the brand professionally.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Chinese or Asian cuisine restaurant is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Chinese food, culture, and dining etiquette.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other customer management tools.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Can start ASAP
