Job Title: Purchasing Specialist
Job Description:
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services for the organization. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that products are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:*
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, service, and availability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
2. Purchasing Processes:
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed.
3. Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Review and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and performance.
4. Market Research:
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products.
Analyze purchasing data and provide reports to management regarding spending patterns and cost-saving opportunities.
5. Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments (e.g., finance, operations, and production) to understand their needs and align purchasing strategies.
Collaborate with the logistics department to coordinate shipments and manage inventory effectively.
6. Compliance:
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all purchases and supplier communications.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)) are a plus.
Experience:
at least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management is preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in procurement and inventory management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Personal Attributes:
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
