The HR Onboarding & Hiring Specialist manages the complete hiring and onboarding process—from sourcing and screening candidates to contract signing, new hire orientation, and deployment. You will help new employees start strong and ensure all documentation and compliance steps are properly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Hiring Duties:
· Source candidates through job boards, social media, and referrals.
· Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and administer assessments.
· Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and department heads.
· Prepare job offers, hiring packets, and pre-employment instructions.
· Maintain organized hiring trackers.
Onboarding Duties:· Validate and process all pre-employment requirements.
· Facilitate contract signing and 201 file completion.
· Prepare and conduct New Hire Orientation (NHO).
· Ensure timely encoding of new hire data into HRIS and payroll.
· Coordinate with IT, Admin, and departments for equipment and account setup.
· Monitor probationary evaluations and new hire concerns.
Qualifications:
· Graduate of HRDM, Psychology, Business Management, or related course.
· With experience in recruitment or onboarding (advantage but not required).
· Candidates with any HR-related experience will be given preference for this position.
· Organised, detail-oriented, and professional.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
· Knowledge in basic HR compliance and labour requirements is a plus.
· Minimum 2+ years of recruitment or onboarding experience is strongly preferred.
