Job Summary:

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of human resources tasks and initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and other HR-related functions. The HR Generalist ensures HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Coordinate orientation and training programs for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Promote a positive work environment and company culture.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and ensure fair treatment of employees.

Performance Management & Development

  • Support performance appraisal processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
  • Identify training and development needs.
  • Assist in designing and implementing employee development programs.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Assist in managing payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
  • Provide employees with guidance regarding benefits and compensation.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  • Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records with confidentiality.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards as needed.
  • Track employee turnover, recruitment metrics, and other HR KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR generalist role or similar capacity.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and employment regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR software.
