Role Description

The Project Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and closure of development projects, with a focus on platform/web, and learning management systems (LMS). This individual will ensure efficient resource allocation, effective stakeholder communication, and adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading individual projects from initiation to closure.
  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day administration and management of the Learning Management System (LMS), with a strong preference for Moodle.
  • Conducting market research and collaborating with stakeholders to define product requirements.
  • Conducting thorough risk identification and mitigation planning specific to software development projects.
  • Monitoring project progress, utilizing project management tools to track progress and identify risks.
  • Communicating proactively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically overseeing platform/web, or mobile application development projects.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, project management tools, and vibe coding.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of educational technology and digital learning platforms.
  • Advantage if the applicant has certificates and/or seminars attended related to project management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications).
