Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee procurement activities for medical supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and products.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness before processing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast and meet supply needs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain within a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
